Crystal and gemstone healing powers have been debated by many scientists for years and years. Some do not believe in the healing properties of gemstones and crystals, while others back it completely, believing that there is indeed legitimacy behind the practice. At a foundational level, crystals are made of the same elements as the human body (silicon being an important element of both humans and crystals) and can therefore transfer positive energy to people who wear or hold gemstones and crystals.
Dr. Marcel Vogel, renown scientist and founder of Vogel Luminescence in San Francisco has been quoted as saying “The crystal is a neutral object whose inner structure exhibits a state of perfection and balance. … Like a laser, it radiates energy in a coherent, highly concentrated form, and this energy may be transmitted into objects or people at will. … With proper training, a healer using a crystal can release negative thought forms which have taken shape as disease patterns.”
Internationally known German doctor, Flora Peschek-Bohmer wrote an entire book on the healing properties of crystals called “Healing Crystals and Gemstones.” In her book, she gives a detailed history of the healing properties of gemstones and how they have been used for thousands of years for the energy inside of them. She talks about their effects on the seven chakras in the body which are the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown chakras.
There is no doubt that the healing properties of gemstones are still debated by many in the scientific and medical communities. However, there is a lot evidence from thousands of years of use that gemstones do have some kind of positive effect on the human body. This is undeniable for many scientists who have conducted experiments and found that gemstone and crystal energy really can improve people’s lives.
